On September 15, 2023, the Tarlac State University College of Computer Studies (CCS) students, collectively known as the CCS-CyberSquad, achieved a commendable 9th place out of 15 participating schools at the 'DICT Hack4Gov: CERT-PH Cyber Challenge 2023.'
This fiercely competitive event, hosted at Holy Angel University in Angeles City, was organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region 3 with the goal of fostering cyber awareness and action.
Reflecting on their journey through the competition, Alieu Farreeze Arcilla of CCS-CyberSquad remarked, "We had fun working together to solve the problems, and it showed us how important teamwork is."
