Mark Zablan, a 2nd-year BSIS-BA student, serenaded his way to victory as the lone CCS representative of TSU Chorale, bagging multiple awards during the 1st Pangasinan Choral Festival at Sison Auditorium in Lingayen, Pangasinan.
Zablan made a mark on his solemn journey as one of the pillars in the choral group's win, adding another award to the cabinet for being the champions of the 1st Pangasinan Choral Fest.
TSU Chorale earned the "Best Interpretation" award for their rendition of "Galila" by Dr. Gilbert Allan N. Dispo, under the baton of conductor Mr. Joshua Ysmael Fontanilla, topping off their achievements by also receiving the Grand Prix award.
In addition to these accolades, the TSU Chorale was awarded a Gold Diploma, a recognition shared with five other competitors. The success follows months of rigorous training and preparation, showcasing the chorale's dedication and talent.
Looking ahead, the TSU Chorale's future shines bright. Zablan expressed his dedication to the ensemble stating, "I plan on continuing this journey of creating music with the group and telling stories through the music we sing." His commitment signals a promising path forward for the chorale's artistic endeavors.
